Hey Everyone!  I wanted to share with everyone recently an amazing meditation I started doing these last few days.  It’s great to do when you’re looking to feel happier, more loving, positive, etc…try it out and notice how it makes you feel after a few times then leave me a comment and let me know what you experience!

Make sure you sit where you won’t be disturbed for a few minutes so you can relax.  In a seated position, place one of your hand’s on your heart and take a deep breath in through your nose (inhale 4-8 counts) and exhale through your open mouth loudly.  Repeat the inhalation and this time keep your mouth closed holding your breath and expand your heart in all directions, expanding it further than your body, the room your in, make it as big as you’d like (I picture mine expanded to fill the entire world), then exhale again through your mouth.  As your expanding your heart area, imagine that your heart is filled with a bright green light, so as your heart expands so does this green light.  Repeat a few times.  Pause and notice how you feel.

The 2nd part of this is picture a time when you were little (any age, it doesn’t matter, usually what pops into your head is best) and send yourself love from your heart.  You can do this anyway that feels right to you…I imagine it a beam, you may see it or do it differently.  There’s no wrong way to do it.  Is there anyone else in this memory that you’re picturing from when you were little?  Send them love too from your heart area.  You can do this for literally a few seconds or a few minutes depending on what you choose.  Pause here, notice how/what you feel.

Lastly, who challenges you in your life?  What scares you?  Send those people love using the above method.  It sounds outrageously simple.  Give it a try, a few try’s actually…notice how you begin to feel differently.  What goes around comes around, so this is always a great exercise to fit in during your day.  I’d love to hear your feedback, so don’t hesitate to leave me your comments!!!  <3 <3 <3
