Hi Everyone!  Happy 2011!  I hope everyone is feeling refreshed and renewed for 2011!  I know for me 2010 was a year of A LOT of changes, some “good” some “bad” but at the end of the day they both led me to the same place…having greater clarity for what I want outta life.  For that, I’m thankful!

So what does this have to do with class, or my L-Yoga Flow Method?  Everything…I’m on a constant mission to share the best tools and techniques for creating the kind of life you want in each class.  I don’t want to wake up every day and “hope” it’s a good day, I want to know I have an active role in making it so…to be honest, it doesn’t always go that way, but it is relieving to believe and know that it can, it will, and it has…

So how do we do this?  Well I know how I do it for myself on a regular basis…writing in a gratitude journal every morning (sometimes it’s as simple as ‘thank you God for my breath’), listening to positive inspiring audiobooks/podcasts, doing L-Yoga 😉 , dancing (love, love, love to!!), praying, meditating, reading my affirmations (associated w/a goal I may have) until I BELIEVE them (belief is the magic ingredient), etc…Anything that authentically puts a smile on your face, makes you feel good, rejuvenates you, does shift your vibe and things over time will begin to get easier…we’re in a universe of “like attracts like”…so what are you resonating with?

I get asked a lot about “what about doubt, disbelief, this all sounds great but I don’t believe in myself”  kinda thing…I know, I was once there…for really my whole life (no one knew) and to be real, I go back there from time to time…that’s why it’s important to have these “tools” to help shift yourself outta the s**t 😉  It’s always easy when it’s easy…what about when you feel like you’ve hit rock bottom?  Be the powerful being that you are and MOVE that energy…one of my favorite things to do is play brain wave music when I fall asleep at night?  Why?  Because it helps to re-train your subconscious…Our subconscious is what rules 95-99% of our lives and a lot of the times we really don’t realize the s**t we still believe…this is when pro-active programming as I like to call it comes into play… I personally love anything from www.brainsync.com (I play this in class) and also Louise L. Hay’s “Self-Esteem Affirmations.”  I’ve personally seen dramatic, positive changes from regular use of these and cannot rave enough about these companies.
