Kirtan Kriya Kundalini YogaHi Everyone!

Natalie here.  I wanted to share one of my favorite meditations from my favorite style of yoga – Kundalini!  Kundalini yoga is the yoga of awareness, which probably doesn’t mean very much if you’ve never experienced it before.  The experience of this style of yoga is that is makes you feel good, REALLY good…maybe the best you’ve ever felt in your life.

The power of Kundalini yoga lies in how fast acting it is.  There’s nothing that it can’t help you move through or feel better about.  If you’re having an “off” or “bad” day or if the you-know-what is hitting the fan, then do some Kundalini and you’ll feel way better (tweet this!)  The energy it produces is powerful.  It cuts through any and all negativity and helps you handle everything in your life with ease and grace (i.e. you’re not stressed so you can handle life’s challenges).  The effects are numerous and too many to mention in this blog post, but bottom line is if you want to feel good, perhaps the best you’ve felt, give this style of yoga a try (it’s called EnLighten at our studio, class schedule here).  

Below is the Kirtan Kriya Meditation and there are two variations.  One is for everyone and the other is for ladies only.  Yogi Bhajan (who introduced Kundalini to America in 1969) recommended that if you are only to do one kundalini meditation then do this one.  It’s that powerful.  One of the effects of it is that it helps to heal past relationships.  This meditation can and does benefit all who do it, so I’m so excited for you guys to try it.  I encourage you to look up more about it to see the numerous effects it will have on you.
